New Projects, Photography, & Covid

The past 20 months have brought many changes to the wood shop – namely a drastic rise in the cost of wood, the uncertainty of job security for many of our population, and, on a positive note, more time to pursue my love of photography. More time at home has revived a love of birdwatching and climate change seems to have brought the opportunity to see new species to our feeders and ponds nearby. Brilliantly colored Tanager, Parula, American Redstart, Vireo, Black & White Warbler, Little Green Heron, and Great Egret have joined the more common Finches, Bluebirds, Hawks, and Hummingbirds to make every nature walk a new adventure. These days, if I’m not in the shop, I’m behind the lens.
